Critical Success Factors BPM

 

There are 6 critical successfactors for a sustainable BPM implementation.

 

Burning Platform

• A sense of urgency is needed for the issues within scope

• The WHY must be clear

 

Sponsorship

• Executive Buy-in en sponsorship is needed.

 

(Process) Centre of Excellence (CoE)

• A CoE is important to facilitate the method in central and sustainale manner.
• Define a clear scope for the CoE within the BPM method.

• Sufficient resources for the CoE are essential. Start small.

 

Organization

• The essential formation must be in place to start BPM.

• Sufficient change capacity is needed to start  project.

 

Stakeholder Mgt

• Communicate results and involve Stakeholders for support in the long run.

 

Governance

• Process ownership

• Clear guidelines to manage and govern processes
